AMP 3 Layer Hemp Insert - Single

I'll be honest: These inserts are quite bulky when you trifold them. With that in mind, they are not an awesome daytime insert. (If you want a great daytime insert, the AMP 2 layer hemp insert is awesome.) However, they absorb a massive amount, so they're great for overnights. When you trifold these, you're getting NINE layers of hemp absorbency. That's a lot of layers of hemp, so of course it'll be bulkier, stiffer, and take longer to dry. They do get more flexible with wash and use, and they hold up well. Plus, they're made in Canada, which makes me love them just a little bit more.

So far I have only 1, but I plan to buy more! I was doing disposable diapers for night time, but now that my guy is 10 months old I find he doesn't wake, and therefore pee, as often as he used to and this hemp insert works all night with no leaks, on it's own, in a pocket diaper.

Absorbent but very thick, not what I expected but it does the job.

3 layer hemp is my Softest most Absorbent piece. For the price, it absorbs a lot more than 2 layers hemp or 3x 3 layer hemp booster. Maintain good size after wash. Does not need a lot more drying time. I just leave it close to vent after the dryer run. Con: bulky. Not really for preemies or newborns unless you have a 10 lb newborn.

My daughter looks so uncomfortable when these inserts are in her diaper. They absorb so so so well, but they�re just too bulky, even for overnights when she isn�t as mobile!

We couldn't use these because of the bulkiness - it wouldn't fit between my son's legs and he was very uncomfortable because of how stiff his diaper was. I give 3 stars still though because of how INSANELY absorbant these are! It could hold a TON of pee, so it does its job really really well. Just wasn't functional for us.

These hemp inserts are very high quality and have great absorption. I use them with the AMP Duo pocket diapers and they are my go-to for naps as they hold a lot of pee for my heavy wetter. They are quite thick but work so well that I don't mind.

These are my favourite inserts ever. They are a bit bulky on a newborn but performance wise and ease of use make these amazing. They hold a lot and fit really well in my diapers.

These inserts are very absorbant, more than the 2 layer hemp inserts, but they are much less trim, so not as easy to use as the 2 layer hemp ones. I find them too stiff and bulky to use with my bum genius pocket diapers (even on the largest setting) or other diapers until my baby was about 1 year old, but they work well now that my baby is older with my size 2 Applecheeks, my Flip on the largest setting and my Blueberry Capri on the 2nd largest and largest setting (I fold them once and use them on their own as they have enough absorbency). They are a bit short with my Blueberry Capri covers on the largest setting, but still OK. I find that hemp doesn't absorb as fast as bamboo (but it's more absorbant), so I like to pair my hemp inserts with a bamboo insert or booster, but this insert is already quite bulky on its own, so I can't do that as easily as with my AMP 2 layer hemp inserts.

Great for adding absorbency to a night time solution! I find it holds a lot and dries quickly.
