Geffen Baby Hemp/Cotton Jersey Prefold Cloth Diaper

Purchased 2 of these for my 2 year old in the toddler size. They are quite absorbent but I don�t feel they wash well for the price. The material doesn�t lay flat or for super well so it�s bulkier than it has to be.

I got these to use as inserts for my funky fluff pocket diapers and am floored by the amazing absorbency compared to my other inserts. These are a lifesaver, especially overnight!

These are the most absorbent inserts I own. They hold more than the Thirsties prefolds or inserts or the Geffen hemp flats or the super absorber plus. I use these in night time diapers because it's the only thing I've tried that helps my 7mth old, frequent night-time wake and feeder, make it through the night without leaks. These aren't like other prefolds that vary absorbency (I.e. more layers in the middle). It's a multi-layered rectangle shape after washing. Its bulkier than a super absorber plus but very very absorbent (more absorbent than 1 super absorber plus). Like other hemp products it does get hard as it gets more saturated with liquid. I use the super absorber plus during the day and when I need some added absorbency (like night or going out for a bit and want to avoid changing but still keep baby dry) I reach for these padfolded inside a fitted or pocket. In pockets I find they also seem to do a decent job absorbing fairly quickly because my 7mth old hasn't out-peed them yet. If I could build a stash all over again I'd buy these, super absorber plus and some amp and thirsties hemp just to mix it up. These are a great value and well worth it. Glad I found them.

These are super absorbent! However I don't use them very often as I find them bulky when using them with my covers (and I prefer my snap in inserts that Stay put!). Definitely won't fit like a traditional prefold around my baby (16lbs)- only used as folded inside my flip covers and feel bulky.

I really didn't care for these at all. They don't snappi so are only good padfolded. Padfolded they are hard and bulky. I think I'd rather the fleece ones over the jersey.

If you are expecting a traditional prefold, with two lines stitched for easy folding and thicker layers in the centre, then you will be surprised to find this isn't that. The material is soft and absorbent but it is really just a rectangle of layered fabric which is hard to fold with a snappi. I probably won't be ordering more because I prefer traditional prefolds.

These are very absorbent as a nighttime option! I do find I have to lay a bamboo or cotton booster on top as they aren't quick absorbing but they hold a lot that forsure!! I bought the Smll size

After a few reccomendations from other moms on this brand I decided to give them a shot. After using AppleCheeks and having absorbancy issues I was looking for something thin but super absorbant. These inserts fit the bill to a T!!! No bulk, urine magnets and super easy to use and stuff. Reccomend to everyone who cloth diapers regardless of what cover you use!

I love this prefol. I just got one to try it out and today I'm buying more. I haven't used it for diapering yet. My baby it's still too tiny for the one size diapers I got, but I don't doubt these will be really good addition to any cloth diaper. I bought it as a burp cloth or as an extra layer for the bassinet to avoid changing the sheets every day. I've only washed it once pre-use but it still was very absorbent. Another benefit is that I've been washing it with no special detergent and I've given no extra care, however it comes out as new after each wash. You can't realize where the stains were before washing it. Also they are super soft and really nice and it doesn't look like a prefold at all. On top of everything it is made out of hemp and organic cotton so it's clean and eco-friendly. The only feature that is not ideal is that it doesn't dry easily. I had to put it through more than one cycle to dry it out. Other than that, it's absolutely perfect!

As a mom of soon to be 13 and cloth diapering for over a decade and for years using only fitteds and wools for all natural combo. But In the past for short time and then most recent, my children started getting severe wetness rashes with open sores. SO for the first time went to pocket diapers and knew I needed some very absorbent and trim if I wanted them to work and not get compression leaks. WOW WOW these absorb and are trimmer than cotton pre-folds and fold up so nice and very pliable (meaning easy moving around for your little ones) I have every size as I even have big kid wetters at night and they are all so happy. They are more comfortable at night, not having a huge waud between their legs when trying to sleep(the old system was cotton pre-folds Two and a fitteds diaper and leaks because it could not hold) One xl is holding my big kids. And my full time cloth 16 month old is using the m/l and comfy as can be. These truly are amazing and soft, and pliable and wash up nice. Love them. DO not miss my fitteds at all.
