The Desert Fox from Schleich WILD LIFE is famous for its big, long ears. But it doesn’t just use them to listen!
The
Desert Fox from Schleich WILD LIFE lives in the sandy deserts of North
Africa. It has an excellent sense of hearing and can even detect prey
that lives underground. The large ears also release body heat, making
the fox perfectly adapted to the hot temperatures in its native habitat.
The little predator feeds primarily on insects, small rodents,
reptiles, birds and fruit. The desert fox is also known as the fennec
fox.
- Schleich® figurines are modelled in the finest detail to help children learn while they play.
