These are hands down my favorite covers to use. From the design, the fit, the double gussets, the feel of the fabric, and the adjustments possible with the snaps. After using them for three months, I understand why they receive such great reviews. I wish I had bought more of these instead of the rumparooz one size covers.
I have used the Thristies covers for both my babies. I used size 1 and then size 2 as they grew - I love the double gussets, the adjustable size, dry on the line/rack quickly, the price is reasonable, cute prints, and they last really well. I basically never have leaks which I think is a combination of the excellent double gusset design and the fact that these fit my babies really well. I use them for nighttime too (with a fitted diaper, and several inserts, including hemp/bamboo/cotton) - no leaks! I always hang to dry all of my cloth diaper products that have elastics and that seems to keep them in excellent condition. I prefer the velcro Thirsties covers over the snaps, but both are great! Someone mentioned the white trim staining - I agree with that, so I after that first experience, I always choose the patterns that have dark trim.
They are the perfect size. The double gusset has been amazing at preventing leaks. And can't forget how stinkin' cute the patterns are! I will definitely be buying more.
Big fan of the Thirsties duo wrap covers. The double leg gussets mean we have never once had a leg leak. (A couple little blow outs at the back.) We've just purchased more in size two after 5m in size one. He is about 16/17lbs and currently fits well in both sizes. Started just before 8lbs when he was a week old and they have consistently fit well. Currently he wears one paired with a prefold and a couple boosters (hemp & bamboo) for 12 hours overnight, sleeping on his side and no leaks.
I like how thin and flexible the fabric is. It feels much more flexible and comfortable for my little baby than the thicker fabric used on most other covers (i.e. Buttons, Rumparoos). My baby wore this cover from birth (7 lb) to 3+ months (16 lbs).
I got these in size 1 for my newborn. They fit her at about 7lbs. She is now 12lbs and they will fit her for quite a while still. So, I will get a lot of use out of these. The double leg gussets are a must.
It gives a better fit than the one size covers I have. It's not as bulky on a young baby as some of the one size. Fits well over prefolds or fitters.
A good cover with nice prints if you like 1 row of snaps. Size 2 fits my chunky 6 month old and my skinny, almost potty trained, 2 1/2 year old. Together with the Better Fit pre folds this is an easy to use, affordable cloth diaper option.
These are my ultimate favourite diaper covers over my flats, prefolds, and fitted diapers! They are trim, adjustable, fit my baby well, and have saved me from many potential poop disasters with the double leg gussets and back elastics. The cute designs always tempt me to buy more, but I already have so many! I machine wash and they take no time at all to dry on the drying rack. I highly recommend these covers!
These were the first diapers I bought for my new born. I found the cover and inserts to be a more affordable option and they are pretty good but I am experiencing more and more leaks with them. You have to get the fit just right but it ends up leaving marks on my baby. I like that you can reuse the wraps after giving them a wipe but often I need to throw it in the wash after one use because of a huge leak or explosion. I am giving up the wraps and inserts in favor for all in ones and pockets.
